As the first gravel round of the IPS Paint Rally Challenge, the Rallynuts Stages traditionally attracts a large number of new registrations and by the time the first car leaves Builth Wells it is anticipated that at least 80 contenders will have signed up for the Championship created to support Wales Air Ambulance.
Although 6 rounds take place on gravel and 6 on sealed surfaces, every year the Champion has emerged competing in just one of the disciplines although some contenders do compete on both. Scores are calculated from the Class position in each rally which count toward an overall score. This allows Drivers and Co- drivers to compete in different cars and classes throughout the year.
MSUK have again sanctioned the substitution of one named Round to give contenders the option to sample overseas rallying and nominate an event of their choice on which to claim points.
Registration is just £10 which includes Maesteg and District Motor Club membership.
